Learning Green Herb Plant Medicine for Beginners

Whether it is in terms of romance, finances, or even pain you have been experiencing lately; there is a herb that is just right for you. Herbs can be used in different ways. You can light them in incense/smudge form, put them into a bath (like boiling eucalyptus leaves), or consume them in herbal supplements, plant medicine food , or fresh herbal tea. And it doesn’t just stop there! Believe it or not, there are even more ways they can be used.

The amazing thing is how herbs have different properties and what they can do for you. Each herb has its own scent, origin, and purpose. This means that there can be different ones that you can use to benefit the different areas of your life- which is what I personally like to do. 

My top three herbs would be eucalyptus, peppermint, and green tea. 

Herb Benefits Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus is known for helping decrease pain, promote relaxation,and relieve cold symptoms. It also freshens your breath, soothes irritated skin and repels insects. My personal use of this herb is in my everyday products. I use it in my body wash and in my lotion, and I always feel rejuvenated after using these products. Its spiritual purpose is to aid in healing poppets or charms, for grounding, and you can also add them to spells to overcome blockages and reconcile difficulties in relationships. 

Herb Benefits Peppermint

The next herb I use is peppermint. The way I use it is putting it into my diffuser and allowing its aroma to spread all across my room which helps with healthy brain function. It calms me down after a long day, and is something I look forward to every night. Its healing use is that it can treat flatulence, menstrual pains, diarrhea, nausea, depression,nerve pain, common cold, indigestion and IBS. Its spiritual use is for purification, overcoming blockages, and relieving mental exhaustion.

Herb Benefits Green Tea

Green tea is the last herb that I use. Every night before bed, I make myself a cup of herbal medicine green tea. It puts me in a state of relaxation, which is one of the components it is known for. It allows me to prepare myself for a good night's sleep, and I have seen a shift in how much more refreshed I am when I wake up the next morning. Its healing properties are green tea can help control bleeding, heals wounds,aids digestion, and improves heart and mental health. Its spiritual purpose is to help with health, growth, longevity, relaxation, rejuvenation, prosperity, life, purification and cleansing.
