The Season of Gratitude
With approaching this new holiday season, we are presented with the holiday of Thanksgiving - which we decided to focus on the importance of giving thanks. Gratitude is the emotion of stepping into an energy where you feel towards something, someone, or even yourself with light and warmth.
Gratitude ranges on different scales. You can be grateful for something as simple as finding that perfect parking spot so you don't have to walk too far, or something as grand as being grateful for meeting your soulmate - the one.
The key to the scales of gratitude ideally is no matter how big or how small, you're not only expressing to yourself - but also to the Universe - that you're consciously aware of this positive emotion you're creating in this life. Therefore, that will create even more experiences, things, and people to be grateful for.
A big part of gratitude is reflection, and since we're winding down and coming to the end of the year.. what better time is there then now? Take a moment to sit back and think of how the year has gone. Ask yourself these four questions.
1. What have you gained?
2. What have you released?
4. What do you want to take into the new year?
5. What do you want to let go of before the new year?
When asking yourself these questions, it may lead to the realization that where you're at right now or where you're heading towards is a reflection of what you have experienced this year. We have more control than we think we do. We're constantly evolving and expanding, alongside with the energy of gratitude.
Give thanks every day, not just today.
